The Victorias won the Stanley Cup in February 1896, 1901 and January 1902. After the Stanley Cup became the professional championship, the Victorias continued in senior-level amateur play, winning the Allan Cup in 1911 and 1912.

The North American Plains Bison has been a symbol of the Province of Manitoba since it's inclusion in the Great Seal of Manitoba in 1870. A simple charging Bison on the left side of the sweater (over the heart) displayed who the players represented when they played on the ice.
